Composer Talya Eliav (Israel) and soprano Elena Tereshchenko (Italy) first met in Venice during the production of Talya’s opera Ab Ovo, where Elena performed the leading role. It was under the covid-19 quarantine that the two decided to collaborate again. While Elena recorded the vocal part in her apartment in Florence, Talya produced with her partner Shai Lowenstein the electronic accompaniment at their studio in Haifa. The result is an enchanting track, combining the voice of a gifted contemporary singer, with the sounds of synths, analogue effects and concrete recordings of night birds.
