About the work
I wrote the piece during January-April 2018 from my new mothering experiences. Watching my baby learn her first words and her wonder exploring the sound of words, sank into my mind. The text and the composition were created simultaneously, and both express the search for an initial experience of playing with pronunciation.
In the work I aspired to make the game a very serious act that has a challenging and sometimes complex aspect, trying to get closer to the perspective of the developing child, that playing is a very serious work for him. Adopting this first glance to the point of abandoning the meaning of the text is key to understanding the interplay between text and music.
In 2024 the piece was performed by "Ani Kol" ensemble.
