Kod Hazikaron (Code of Memory)

Talya, a singer-songwriter, releases her 2nd album – “Kod Hazikaron” (Memory Code) on May 12th 2011.

Talya is the kind of artist who goes all the way with her inside burning creativity, while her inner quest and the deed of art are her guiding lighthouse. Some would say she is 'artistically brave', some – 'suicidal', but for her it's her natural way. As an Israeli raised girl (7th generation), educated in an Anthroposophic school, she has two characteristics: artistic creativity and a strong self-expression. It's been said she has "a deep black voice", and that she is "a great performer", sure enough with her big and warm voice, Talya Eliav can surf easily between soft caressing singing to kicking might, what makes her less expected and more interesting.

After a surprising first album ("The Movement", 2008), at the age of 26 she hands out her second album, produced by Shai Lowenstein, within it 13 self-written songs (ex. "Pashut").

With Musicians:

Shai Lowenstein – electric guitar, production, mix

Keren Phenpimon – drums, percussion

Yonatan Levital – bass

Ariel Qasis – canun

Merav Shacham – flute and backing vocals
